Law of Stability

stability

Hey, this is spontaneous. I just bumped to the admin page of my blog and found an amusing pattern which I have always strongly believed in and i.e. the law of stability. I am really not sure, if there is any such rule or physics law which is already in existence, my avid readers can enlighten me, if there is any but I just named it as ‘law of stability’ (If there is not any existing then have I just disovered another law … aha … where’s the Nobel ? :- P)

Do you see the pattern in the hits of my blog? The first day spike, the second day trough, third spike and so on and so forth and finally the blog readers are reaching to a stability. Possible explanations could be when I put my new website in my Gtalk and YM! byline status, many of the people have clicked it out of curiousity. Next day those people have not clicked as they have already clicked first day, I have written one post the other day and perhaps by word of mouth or again out of some-human-psychology (perhaps human brain tend to return back to a website  after 48 hrs), the readers have been spiked the other day. Out of context but during one of my long drives, I have listened in one of the relationship radio talk shows that if a guy doesn’t call a girl till 4 weeks (god knows how did they arrive to this figure?) after meeting up for the first time then girl should no longer wait and move on. Their idea was that a guy can keep himself busy in work, beer, friends and other stuff for 2 weeks and after that he starts missing the girl. I would not delve anymore.

So we are talking about our spiking graph. I can very explain the downsides as readers are no more interested in my blabberings … hehe … ok, no kidding. The downside could be because I have not updated my posts and readers have logged once in the morning and finding that nothing has not updated have not logged for the rest of the day. Similarly the augument can be explained that readers have logged in the blog couple of times to see the updates, perhaps they just see the post and read it on next login. I would not go further as how my blog readers work is not my analysis because that one can easily be found out by going through couple of blog-traffic websites or e-commerce online stores.

What’s interesting is the stability that I am getting in a range. This is also some of the mathematical graphs, not the common one of sin or cosine (something which I don’t recall at this old age, poor me !) where the peak and trough are averaging out in a range and that range is narrowing down, making me believe that this number is the real real readers of the blog. I just love this pattern and intuitionally believe that many of the things can be explained by this. Say, hmmm ….  relationship, when a couple gets into relationship, it’s like this. They are so highly romantic one day and then engage into a dumb fight the other day. If they stick together then their relationship gets stablised. Does anyone see that we have just explained how love works … chuck chuck :- D

Before continuing, wish to clarify that this law works only on new things. Now coming next in line is passion, I guess that 98% of guys must have fascination for body building during college days, they start vigorously, then with initial strech, comes down the passion, those who survive, continues but with other day-to-day life activities, things become cliched and only those who continue and keep the stability bar higher becomes successful, rest other either diminshes or their bars are too low to be significant. I can relate almost everything to this analogy, economic fundamentals, recession cycles, stock market. Coming to you, it can also explain your personal desires or professional ambitions, the more regular, focussed and hard-working you are, the better are the chances to bring stability and sure success to you. Remain assured that you will have stability in life but the higher the bar, the better it is. Some call it lady-luck, I’d name it as ‘law of stability’ .

Regards,

Pawan
